"USANA is my choice in nutritionals, hands down!"
I’m so proud to be part of the USANA family. Representing life altering nutritionals, with a company that has a vision like USANA is a refreshing change from my usual day to
day life.
I can see why their theme this year is “USANA Living the Dream.”
Being a NJ EMT, I get to see first-hand the disaster that we call degenerative disease. Even so, I myself wasn’t taken my own health seriously until recently. You would think I would know better. Here is how it all started for me. I was working with my partner one rainy Saturday. We jumped out of our rig and we were walking toward a restaurant.
As we walked, we passed a health foods store, whose attendant signaled us to come in. I figured, Why not?
Little did I know that the lady was a master saleswoman. She started pitching before I was actually in the store. She took me to the “FEATURED” vitamins. It was a package that normally cost $49.95, but that day I could steal it for just $34.95. To be honest with you, at the time I thought to myself, “$34.95 on sale. Are you kidding me?” But I have to say, that lady was persistent. So she hypnotized me into buying. What originally started as a quick get-away-from-the-rain, turned out to be a pretty good sale for that master sales lady. My partner ended up buying vitamins too.
Anyhow, a few days later I started feeling the effects of the vitamins, and I have to tell you, I was starting to feel better. Kind of hard to explain, but I just felt a sense of wellbeing, as well as more energy, and a clearer mind. I was intrigued about this, and so I started looking online to see how these vitamins rated.
I found a vitamin comparison page on the net with a simple google search. This particular page rated the top 100 vitamins in North America. To my surprise, the vitamins I bought rated 43 out of 100. Furthermore, one of the ratings was for bioavailability. The vitamins I had were rated as having only 32% bioavailability. I was floored. How could that be? How could I feel so much better with a vitamin that was doing such a poor job?
So now I’m very intrigued. If the ones I had were 43 out of 100, who are the top ten? Number 1 was a company called Extend Life, somewhere around $50 for a month supply. Number 2 was USANA, again somewhere around $50 a month. However, USANA had the highest rating for bioavailability.
Just to let you know, I’m a compulsive researcher. So back I go, searching some more. Everywhere I searched, USANA came up as number one. I was impressed with the company, the quality of their manufacturing, and even their unique distribution system. But what really resonated with me was hearing Dr. Wentz, the company founder say, “Today people are living too short and dying too long.”
I agree with that fully. I was drawn into his vision of helping to create a healthier world through proper nutrition. I know some people reading this post will not agree. I’m no fool to believe that everyone will do what it takes to maintain a healthy body, even if it’s as simple as taking superior nutritionals. But I also know that some reading will connect with this message and start looking at their health in a more proactive way.
The bottom line is that most people wait way too long to start living a healthy life. Some wait so long that disease and degeneration catchs up to them quickly. Trust me when I tell you, YOU DON’T WANT TO EXPERIENCE THAT! I see it everyday, and it’s not a pretty picture. Once things start going wrong, it creates a chain reaction that triggers other failures. Before you know it you have several problems firing off at one time. It’s scary, depressing, and overwhelming.
And let me tell you, if you think nutritionals are expensive, try medical expenses. Health is definitely the less expensive option, not to mention the better quality of life that comes with it. So for me, looking at my own life, USANA is by far my choice hands down. My motto is simple, “USANA for life.”
